Disaster Preparedness
Monday, October 03
3:00pm - 5:00pm
Volunteer Alexandria will be sharing emergency preparedness handouts and answering questions about how you can be better prepared for a disaster!
Handouts will include information from the City and FEMA on everything from developing a family disaster communications plan to prepare children for disasters to getting ready for winter weather. We will also demonstrate how to put together a “go bag” of vital supplies to take with you if you are forced to leave your home in an emergency. Information in multiple languages will be provided.
