Join us to learn about Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District's VCAP program enacted to help property owners in making sustainable water management improvements.

Did you know that as an Alexandrian resident you could qualify to receive assistance for making stormwater improvements to your property that are both beneficial to your home and environmentally-friendly? Judy Fraser, VCAP/CAP Coordinator and Urban Conservation Specialist II, will share with us the scope of this program, what kinds of low-impact development projects are covered and how to get started with the process.

Please register to attend this virtual event. Contact mzimmerman@alexlibraryva.org for more information.

Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District

Our vision is engaged communities working together to protect and restore natural resources. Our mission is to promote sustainable urban and suburban activities and stewardship to conserve our soil, water, air, plants, and animal resources in Fairfax County - vital components of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. We achieve this through effective leadership, technical assistance and outreach programs in partnership with government, industry, non-profit organizations, and the public.
