Oddball Cinema brings you all of the weird, eclectic, and lesser-known films you probably never saw in theaters.
Three years after the events of The Abominable Dr. Phibes, the title character rises from the grave with the intention of restoring life to his deceased wife, whom he has preserved as carefully as he has his own disfigured body. However, he finds that during his dormancy his house has been demolished, and the ancient Egyptian Scrolls of Life, which he needs to complete his mission, have been stolen. The window of opportunity to conduct the resurrection ritual is brief and imminent, so Phibes must hurry to track down the thief, acquire the scrolls, and reach the appointed Egyptian temple, along the way unleashing his mad-genius fury against anyone who stands in his way.
