Using an animal of their choosing as a foundation, participants will mold and create characters both vocally and physically, and apply these characteristics to scene work.
Attendance at all sessions is not mandatory, but the final session will build on the previous ones. This program will be virtual. Ages 10-13.
Terrance Fleming, the teaching artist for this program, hails from Mobile, Alabama. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi (USM), where he developed and refined his theater skills and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting. Based in Baltimore since 2016, he’s had the privilege to collaborate with many different theatres and many talented artists. Some of those collaborations include Aida and The Wiz with Artscentric Theatre, Dracula with Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, Hamlet with the Baltimore Shakespeare Factory, Jerusalem with Fells Point Corner Theatre, Twelfth Night with Her Majesty and Sons, and Queen of Basel with Studio Theatre. Terrance’s work for students includes performing with Arts on the Horizon.
