Join us for a virtual lecture about Mary Todd Lincoln, the complex woman who was Abraham Lincoln’s wife. We will learn about her life from childhood to widowhood as well as her enduring legacy.

Valerie Gugala is a co-founder of Mary Lincoln's Coterie, a group dedicated to the memory and legacy of Mary Lincoln. The group holds lectures and discussions every month via zoom and has hosted a symposium every summer in Springfield, IL for over 20 years. Ms. Gugala has a background in theater, and has worked with a travelling Mystery Theatre Company since 2001.
