The Climate Resilience Hub is space to discuss climate realities and explore how to prepare and adapt. After the virtual tutorial, visit the Hub in-person to receive a free Emergency Starter Kit.
Heard about the Climate Resilience Hub, but haven't had a chance to visit? During this tutorial, you will get to explore the holistic approach of the Climate Resilience Hub to provide resources to meet you where you are on your path to sustainable living and thoughtful resiliency.
Part of resilient living is recognizing the potential for climate disasters. Through a grant from the American Library Association and with the guidance of the City of Alexandria Office of Emergency Management, the library has emergency starter kits with supplies and handouts to help you and your family prepare for an emergency. Available on a first-come, first-serve basis when you visit the Climate Resilience Hub.
The Alexandria Library is part of a growing network of Climate Resilience Hubs throughout the U.S. and Canada. The Hub is located at the Kate Waller Barrett Branch Library.
Registration is required to attend the virtual tutorial.
