Please join Let's Talk Books Club to read and discuss "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" by Dee Brown.
This 1970 classic relays the systematic actions to remove indigenous tribes from the American West. Told through interviews and meticulous research, Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee was one of the first books written by a nonnative, which attempted to understand the struggle and oppression of American Indian tribespeople. In 2007, HBO produced a documentary based on the book.
