Celebrate the beginning of autumn with a guided hike through the trees of Dora Kelley Nature Park with Andrew Benjamin, Arborist with the City of Alexandria.
Please note: this event will begin at the Jerome "Buddie" Ford Nature Center at 5750 Sanger Ave. Alexandria, VA 22311.
The hike is limited to 25 participants. To register, please email nature.center@alexandriava.gov and include the number of people who will be in your party.
This event is provided in partnership with the Jerome "Buddie" Ford Nature Center and Alexandria's Urban Forestry Program. The Jerome "Buddie" Ford Nature Center provides year-round environmental education programs. For more information, visit alexandriava.gov/naturecenter.
Want to learn about the trees before you attend? Join a virtual presentation on Tuesday, September 21 at 6 PM led by the Andrew Benjamin, arborist with the City of Alexandria. Registration for the virtual talk can be found on the events page by searching "Sustainability".
