Project Drawdown seeks to empower people to understand and embrace research-based, interdependent actions that address the climate crisis.
What will it take to reverse global warming and stop climate change? Is it even possible? Join us for this Introduction to Project Drawdown, a research initiative which has created two scenarios for reversing global warming using 75 carbon reducing solutions that are available now. You will see how these solutions work together and be inspired to find your role in the global community of change-makers working to avert the climate crisis.
This 90 minute interactive workshop will be presented via Zoom by Beck Mordini, a volunteer presenter for The Pachamama Alliance and Co-chair of the Mt. Vernon Unitarian Church Climate Action Team with Christian Reynolds, Youth Services Librarian and Zero Waste leader.
Project Drawdown, founded by author and environmentalist Paul Hawken and consisting of more than 200 researchers, aims to identify substantive solutions to reverse climate change. The Pachamama Alliance is a global community that offers training and engagement to encourage a sustainable future.
