Kristen McGill, RD, CSOWM, received her bachelor’s in Nutritional Sciences at Penn State University and went on to do her dietetic internship through Penn State as well. She is board certified in obesity and weight management and is currently working towards her master’s degree in food and nutrition education through Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s online program. Her career paths have included working as a clinical dietitian in hospitals, long-term care, bariatrics and now retail! She is always eager to learn all aspects of the world of nutrition. Best of all, her passion is food! She enjoys cooking and baking whether it be healthy weeknight meals, special occasions, or indulging her friends and family with a homemade baked good. Kristen is always on the hunt for a “food adventure” whether it be a new restaurant or new type of cuisine to try. In her spare time, she enjoys soaking up everything the DC area has to offer: bike trails, festivals, site-seeing, monuments, museums and everything else in between!
