Public Prosecutor Bryan Porter gives a talk on his book, "The Parable of the Knocker."

The true crime story of a prosecutor's fight to bring a serial killer to justice. 

Bryan Porter, Alexandria’s elected prosecutor, will discuss the investigation, prosecution and trial of the notorious serial killer, Charles Severance. In addition to discussing the case, Porter will provide his insights on the important issue of mental health and access to firearms and what can be done to address it.

Time for Q & A will follow the presentation.
