Join relatives of Alexandria Library Sit-In protestors William “Buddy” Evans and Morris Murray in a panel discussion as they share how the event and its legacy impacted them, their family, their outlook and accomplishments. A question and answer period will follow the discussion.
The event will kick off with hors d’oeuvres, and City officials will read a proclamation. A separate activity will be available for children six years and older in the Story Time Room.
