Drawing from her memoir Smart Girl, she’ll share personal stories, insights on how libraries can foster belonging, and practical ways to support first-gen students in their academic and career journeys. Attendees will walk away with a deeper understanding of the first-gen experience and tangible ways to uplift and empower first-gen scholars in their own communities.
