Start the year off right with this free 8-week yoga series: The VETOGA Level 1 Asana sequence is inspired by the classical approach of Sri Dharma Mittra. Similar to Dharma Yoga, this gentle yet "forceful" series focuses on both physical development (hatha yoga) and mental mastery (raja yoga) through asana, pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation to bring a sense of well-being to the body and radiant peace to the mind.
Students will be guided through Surya Namaskar (sun salutations) and Shiva Namaskar (held postures) followed by a short alternate-nostril breathing exercise and concluding with a short meditation. Students are not required or expected to attend all 8 sessions -- attend as many as you like and get ready to grow a sustained yoga practice in 2025 and beyond!
