This documentary, the result of decades of research, explores the corrosive influence of the internet on both the individual and society at large, detailing its detrimental effects particularly with regard to the spread of violent messaging and the rise of groups… no, just kidding. It’s really an Australian horror comedy about demons using the internet to take over the world, and it’s so relentlessly action-packed that you may be out of breath by the time the final credits roll. In addition to all the qualities you could hope for in the cyberpunk-horror subgenre, it offers constant fleeting references to famous films that zoom by so rapidly you won’t be able to count them all: Star Wars, Alien, Ghostbusters, The Matrix, Hellraiser, Team America: World Police, and many more get their tributes.
