Oddball Cinema brings you all of the weird, eclectic, and lesser-known films you probably never saw in theaters. Click on the event title for more info!
The premise is simple: God lives in an apartment in Brussels, and He spends most of each day making up new rules of the universe to amuse Himself and frustrate humanity. It’s this kind of behavior that made His Son leave home a couple of thousand years ago, and now His Daughter is getting restless too. This production resembles an amalgam of Amélie, Dogma, Time Bandits, and Holy Motors with some original weirdness mixed in to hold everything together. The result is alternately touching, hilarious, and profoundly philosophical. It should be regarded as required viewing for all Oddballs whose religious beliefs allow it.
