Please join us virtually to learn more about air quality and the steps you can take to improve air in your home.
What is a Code Red air quality action day? Does my home have healthy air? How does the air impact my health? Alexandria’s Office of Environmental Quality and the Alexandria Health Department are teaming up to discuss outdoor and indoor air quality, including how a purple air monitor works, what the different air quality action day codes mean, and some practical steps you can take to improve the air in your home. Join us to learn what it means to have good or poor air quality, and what you can do to help protect your health and the environment.
Melissa Atwood is a Senior Environmental Specialist with the Office of Environmental Quality, City of Alexandria. Natalie Talis is a Population Health Manager with the Alexandria Health Department.
