Join Sara Lavan, founder of Local Motion Project, for an engaging, accessible movement class.

At your own comfort, we will explore ways to move our body that can increase strength, mobility, balance–and inspire joy! During this class we will explore how creativity can enhance the movement experience and give us the courage to try new things. This truly is for everybody and can be enjoyed seated, standing or a combination of both.

Sara Lavan has been teaching, moving, and making for over three decades. Her background in dance, Pilates, Dance for Parkinsons’, Laban/Bartenieff, Franklin Method and more give her a well-rounded approach to movement and dance, and the ability to teach to a wide range of ages and abilities. She thrives on introducing new ways of movement to communities, and truly believes dance has the power to bring people together.

Local Motion Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to the belief that all people benefit from moving their bodies and having the opportunity to partake in creative experiences. More info: www.localmotionproject.org
