State-certified VICAP Counselors from the City of Alexandria will conduct a free Medicare presentation in Spanish for older adults 64+, individuals starting in Medicare or potentially eligible due to disabilities, and for caregivers who are assisting their loved ones to navigate the Medicare system. This presentation will provide an overview of Medicare: Part A (inpatient hospitalization/skilled nursing), Part B (outpatient hospital/doctors/labs/radiology), Part C (Medicare Advantage Plans), Part D (prescription drugs), Medigap or Supplement Plans, and more.

Los consejeros de VICAP en la ciudad de Alexandria, certificados por el estado, realizarán una presentación gratuita de Medicare en español para adultos mayores de 64 años, personas que comienzan a recibir Medicare o potencialmente elegibles debido a discapacidades, y para cuidadores que ayudan a sus seres queridos a navegar el sistema de Medicare. Esta presentación proporcionará una descripción general de Medicare: Parte A (hospitalización/enfermería especializada), Parte B (para pacientes ambulatorios/consultas médicas/laboratorios/radiología), Parte C (Planes Medicare Advantage), Parte D (medicamentos recetados), Medigap o Planes Suplementarios, y mucho más.
