Celebrate Women's History Month by making a DIY Care Kit for women in need

For Women's History Month we are partnering with the Domestic Violence Program in Alexandria, VA to make DIY Care Kits that benefit women in safe housing facilities and make a difference. “Women supporting women is the most powerful force for change in the world.” — Ntozake Shange

📦 Please bring one or more items from the list below to be added to a Care Kit, the Domestic Violence Safe House is looking specifically for the following:                                       

-Gift cards –Target, Walmart, Giant, Safeway
-Laundry detergent (baby & regular)
-Diapers in all sizes and Pull-ups
-Large diapers size 5-6
-Baby wipes
-Women’s deodorant
-Kleenex/ facial tissue
-Dishwasher detergent
-Shaving cream and razors
-Hair products for all types of hair
-Adult and children’s pain medication
-Unopened cold and allergy medications for adults and children
-Ointments (Neosporin, burn ointment, Cortisone cream, Benadryl)
-Gastrointestinal medications (Pepto Bismol, Imodium, Tums)
-Disinfectant wipes
-Mouthwash
-Trash bags in all sizes
-Canned soup and Cup of Noodle
-Tuna fish
-Honey
-Canned fruit
-Breakfast bars
-Crackers
-Mac and cheese
-Hamburger Helper
-Applesauce (snack size packs)
-Juice boxes
-Cooking oil
