Beatley Central Library Fall Festival

Please join us on Saturday, October 4th for a day of fun. Celebrate with Library staff as we feature music, children's programs, book swaps, and more! The festival is brought to the community by the generous support of the Friends of Beatley Central Library.

 GOTTA SWING BOOK SWAP BICYCLE WORKSHOPCUPCAKE WALK

BOOK SWAP
10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Small Conference Room
Trade your gently used books for new to you gently used books.


BICYCLE WORKSHOP
10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Outside Library Entrance
Bicycle Pro Shop will be on site to help you learn more about your bicycle. Bring your bike and drop in!


FAMILY STORY TIME
10:00 - 10:30 a.m. Children’s Area
Celebrate National Pizza Month with two pielicious stories.


GLITTER TATTOOS
10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  Children's Area
Children will be delighted with glitter tattoos.

 

MUTT-I-GREES PAINT PARTY
10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Story Time Room
All ages welcome for a Mutt-i-grees paint party where a couple of dogs and volunteers from Operation Paws for Homes will be on hand.

 

GOTTA SWING
10:30 - 11:15 a.m. Large Meeting Room
Join Gottaswing and learn about the history of swing dance, see a swing dance demonstration, and get a beginner swing lesson.

 

STEEL PAN JAM
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  Outside Library Entrance
Ronald Emrit of Steel Pan Jam will perform.

CUPCAKE WALK
Noon - 12:30 p.m.  Large Meeting Room
Win sweet prizes in this musical game for adults and children.
