LE TOUR d'ALEXANDRIA LIBRARY

On Saturday, October 19, 2024 Alexandria Library will host its annual bicycle fun-ride to all Library branches.

This leisurely ride begins at 10 a.m. at Beatley Central Library, is approximately 13 miles long, and ends back where it began. Bring your bike and join library staff for this 2.5-hour ride.

Registration for the event is required, as space on the tour is limited. Riders must be at least 13 years old to participate*. Children and teens under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

QUICK INFORMATION

  • Registration is required and can be completed using the online form below.
  • Participants must sign a waiver/release of liability and parental consent/release agreement which is available below for printing or submitting electronically. The waiver will also be provided on the day of the tour for signing.
  • Helmets are required.
  • Check-in will start at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 19 at the Beatley Central Library.  Onsite parking is available.
  • Tour will begin at 10 a.m. and end at approximately 12:30 p.m.
  • Distance is approximately 13 miles and will be at a leisurely pace. The route ends at Beatley Central Library.
  • In case of inclement weather the event will be cancelled. Staff will contact registered participants to confirm cancellation and information will be placed on the Library's website and social media.
