NaNoWriMo Write In
Wednesday, November 30
6:00pm - 7:00pm
James M. Duncan Jr. Branch Library
Beth Patridge Meeting RoomHave you always wanted to write a book but needed help getting started? November is "National Novel Writing Month" so what better time to start!
Aspiring first-time and seasoned authors please join us at the library to start NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) on the right foot! ...er...the right sentence! 🖊️
Your goal: to write 50,000 words of a novel during the thirty days of November.
What we will provide: The hardest part is getting started so writing prompts, brainstorming, and cheering one another on (and snacks!) will be provided.
- November 2nd we will start with general writing tips, prompts, speed writing, and cheering one another on.
- November 16th is the halfway point and we will check on everyone's progress, what's working, what's not working, how to get un-stuck, and finish off the month strong.
- November 30th we will celebrate our achievements big and small and hear all about the stories you have been writing and what steps to take next! 📚
