Death Cafe
Saturday, December 10
3:00pm - 4:30pm
Death Cafes are an opportunity to demystify the death experience. We offer an open, safe environment for discussing thoughts and feelings about all topics related to death and dying.
At a Death Cafe people drink tea, eat cake and discuss death. Our aim is to increase awareness of death to help people make the most of their (finite) lives. This Death Cafe will be hosted by Brack Stovall, a librarian at Duncan Branch Library.
Please note: Death Cafes are not meant to act as support groups or grief counseling.
A zoom account is not required to join, but a microphone is! Most mobile devices have microphones installed. If you're using a desktop, most webcams also have microphones built in. If you have questions, you can reach out to Brack at bstovall@alexlibraryva.org and she can help you get set up. Registration for this event is required.
