Make a fun face mask that is both seasonal and essential.

At Home with Barrett Library is reanimating for a special Halloween edition. Get ready for some social distancing fun by making a Halloween-themed, no-sew mask. Mask kits will be available starting October 5 for pick up from the Kate Waller-Barrett Branch (717 Queen St.). When registering, please indicate whether you'd like the Cat or Jack-o-Lantern kit. 

The library will provide most of the materials needed, but please have these crafting items on hand: 

  • Marking pen or marker that you'll be able to see on black felt

  • Scissors

  • Hot glue gun & glue sticks (or sewing machine, if preferred)

Additional supplies needed to make Cat mask:

  • Black magic marker

  • Mod Podge or white glue

  • Needle

Registration is required. An email address will be needed to receive the event link.
