Estate Planning 101

Learn about making an estate plan with or without a lawyer. Find out what resources the library has to offer, and get basic information about wills & trusts, probate, and what makes up an estate plan.

Perhaps you're familiar with a will, an estate plan, and maybe even "Probate" - but how does it all work? And what goes into a will or an estate plan? Let's review all these questions and more in an open discussion with an Estate Planning attorney. Bryan MacAvoy of the Smolen Plevy law firm in Vienna will provide basic information about wills & trusts, probate, and what makes up an estate plan. And make sure you bring your questions!
