Learn about historic Alexandria and science themes through stories and activities. (Ages 4-8)

Every Monday this summer, Carlyle House and Alexandria Library are teaming up to have a reading program paired with an activity. The books chosen all have a historic theme and can be tied in with Carlyle House. If you participate in the “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” Program, these books will count towards your goal!

All participants must sign up then pick up activity kit from the Beatley Central Library or the Carlyle House in order to participate in the program.

June 28: Bugs/Insects

July 12: Bees

July 19: Doctors

July 26: Changing Leaves

August 2: Birds

Please register for a kit.  Once you register for a kit, you can pick it up at the Youth Services Desk of the Beatley Central branch or the Carlyle House before the program date. The information to access the program will be in the kit.
