Create simple seed balls that you can scatter in your neighborhood to provide flowers for pollinators. Fun for all ages!
This past Thursday we talked with Hiroki Fukuoka, the grandson of famed natural farmer Masanobu Fukuoka. One of the things he was famed for was creating seed "dumplings," little balls of clay and soil filled with flower seeds. Seed balls can help increase the flowers in our neighborhoods, attracting birds, bees and butterflies!
Join us out on the lawn to create your own seed balls. All materials will be provided and friends of all ages are invited to participate.
