Join us for a talk with Dr. J. Wes Ulm, a multilingual and multi-talented author-physician-researcher with a recently thriving creative career as an award-winning songwriter, musician, and novelist.
As a native Alexandrian and graduate of T.C. Williams H.S., Dr. Ulm went on to study at Duke, MIT, and Harvard Medical School. He was a top champion on the Jeopardy TV quiz show appearing on five shows as well as its Tournament of Champions. His alternative rock band, Kant's Konundrum, holds the record for the most acclaimed debut music video, with 10 festival awards for Dr. Ulm's song "A Hustler's Tale." As the recipient of multiple literary awards, he has also released a novel, Echoes of the Mystic Chords, and has been published in "Democracy Journal" and "Utne Reader".
