The Manumission Tour Company presents early Alexandria's African-American history.

The Manumission Tour Company brings the knowledge from their manumission walking tour to the Barrett Branch Library for an evening immersed in the history of African-American Alexandrians, both free and enslaved, and the tireless work to oppose the practice of slavery. Refreshments will be provided by the event’s sponsor, the National Forum for Black Public Administrators - Alexandria Metropolitan Chapter.

Registration preferred. Contact Megan at mzimmerman@alexlibraryva.org
