Fake news, bots … memes? The seemingly endless list of buzzwords in the news can make it hard to stay ahead in today’s ever-changing media landscape.

Join Newseum Education as we tackle buzzwords, bots and bad actors in media. In this 90-minute program, participants will get clear definitions of current media terms, practical tools to spot misinformation and disinformation and practice with real examples. Participants will leave the session equipped with strategies to help quiet the chaos and take charge of media they encounter in their daily lives.
