This month’s first craft kit will feature a craft inspired by tapa cloth, a traditional material used in the South Pacific.
Join Miss Amanda during Asian/Pacific Heritage Month to learn more about tapa and its uses. Pick up your Tapa Cloth Inspired craft kit between April 26-May 10 in preparation for the May 11 Tween Art program.
You must register each participant who is getting a kit. Space is limited.
Once you have registered, you can pick-up your kit(s) at the YOUTH SERVICES DESK at the BEATLEY CENTRAL LIBRARY or by scheduling a CURBSIDE appointment at the BEATLEY CENTRAL LIBRARY. If you schedule a curbside appointment, be sure to write “Tapa Cloth Tween Art Craft Kit” along with the number of kits you signed up for in the comment field of your appointment.
Kits are given out on a first come, first served basis.
Please note: The meeting ID and passcode for the program are in the kit. You will not receive an email confirmation with a link to the meeting.
Contact Miss Amanda (akite@alexlibraryva.org) if you have any questions. See you on Tuesday, May 11 at 4 p.m.!
