Learn about the plants and animals that call Northern Virginia home.

Understanding our local ecosystems is an important foundation for strengthening our relationship with the natural world and supporting community resilience. An Environmental Educator will identify some of the plants and animals that are native to this area and the benefits they offer, along with some of the non-native species to watch out for.
