Bill Young has traveled the world studying birds. This program will present some of the amazing birds he has seen from all around the world, including birds you might see in your own back yard!

This will be part 1 of a 2 part series. 

This program will be held using Zoom. After you register for the program, you will receive an e-mail with a link to join the meeting in Zoom. You do not need an account to access Zoom. If you have problems setting up Zoom, feel free to reach out to Hannah at hrisley@alexlibraryva.org and she can assist you. Please note: participants will have their videos turned off and their microphones muted for this program, but there will be an opportunity to ask questions using the chat box feature on Zoom.

Bill Young has traveled to all seven continents to study birds. His program will present some of the beautiful and amazing birds he has seen in all corners of the globe, as well as some of the special birds he has seen in Alexandria at Monticello Park. Bill is the author of The Fascination of Birds: From the Albatross to the Yellowthroat, which examines the connections between birds and a broad range of subjects and disciplines. He also makes nature videos, and his YouTube channel has had more than half a million views.
