Let's say there is a road closure.  Or a traffic stop.  Or a work zone.  You, as a human driver, should know what to do-but would a self driving car?  How can the greater D.C. area prepare for self-driving cars?  In this talk, Mike Mollenhauer explores the roadway infrastructure and technologies that will be needed to pave the way.

Mike Mollenhauer is the Director of the Center for Technology Implementation at the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute.

Presented by Virginia Tech and the Alexandria Library and hosted by Port City Brewing Company at 3950 Wheeler Avenue in Alexandria.
