In celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Alexandria Library Sit In,it in, join us for a free two- hour screenwriting class. Registration requested at awilliams@alexlibraryva.org or 703-746-1713.

In this two hour class Lucy Gebre-Egziabher, Fulbright Scholar and professor of cinema at NOVA, will present a lecture and lead you through a screenwriting exercise to help you jump start your own script. This program is part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Library Sit In. Get inspired by the feature films and documentaries about Civil Rights and the African American experience in America being screened across the Alexandria Library system in 2019.
