This hands-on cooking program teaches teens important life skills for eating smart, which will stay with them as they grow into adults. For grades 6-9. Registration required, limited to 12.
Lessons cover how to choose healthy foods and prevent food-borne illness. Teens learn by doing, and can eat what they cook in class or take it home. Presented by the Virginia Family Nutrition Program, Virginia Cooperative Extension.
